How I Can Help

I work with children, teenagers, parents and adults to improve emotional wellbeing, build confidence and strengthen resilience. Every session is personalised to your individual needs, goals, age and strengths.

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness, alongside the Hypno4Children® and Hypno4Teens® frameworks. This allows for a flexible, evidence-based way of supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals and families feel calmer, more confident and more connected.

We all experience stress, anxiety or emotional challenges at different times - but no one needs to go through them alone. Support can make a real difference.

Whether you’re seeking support for your child, your teenager or yourself, I aim to provide a calm, supportive space where you can gain clarity, build self-belief and feel more at ease in everyday life.

Working with Children

Many children go through periods of worry, big emotions or low confidence. These experiences are a natural part of growing up, and your child is not alone in feeling this way.

Children may come for support with worries or anxiety, fears or phobias, low confidence, difficulties managing emotions, or habits such as nail biting or bedwetting. Sometimes challenges show up as changes in behaviour, sleep, or confidence, even when children find it hard to put their feelings into words.

Therapy offers a calm and safe space where children can express themselves and explore feelings at their own pace, in ways that feel comfortable and natural for them. The focus is on helping children feel understood, supported and more settled emotionally.

Sessions are engaging and age-appropriate, and may include talking, storytelling, drawing, imaginative play or gentle calming activities. These approaches help children make sense of their emotions, build confidence and develop skills that support emotional regulation in everyday life.

Parents are an important part of the process. You may join parts of sessions where helpful, receive regular updates, and learn simple, practical ways to support your child’s progress at home. This shared approach helps create consistency and reassurance for children both in and outside of sessions.

Working with Teenagers

The teenage years can be full of change, pressure and uncertainty. School demands, exams, friendships, social expectations and growing independence can all feel overwhelming at times. Therapy offers a calm, supportive space where teenagers can slow down, talk openly and feel understood without judgement.

Teenagers may seek support with exam-related stress, low confidence or self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed or down, fears or phobias, or habits and behaviours that feel difficult to change.

I work with teenagers in a respectful and collaborative way, shaping sessions so they feel age-appropriate and comfortable. Some teenagers prefer to talk, while others engage more easily through practical exercises, visual tools or creative approaches. Sessions are guided by what feels most helpful for each individual.

The focus is on helping teenagers understand their thoughts and emotions, build resilience and develop confidence in managing everyday challenges. Over time, this can help them feel more grounded and better able to navigate this important stage of life.

Parents are included  sensitively where helpful, supporting communication and consistency, while respecting the teenager’s growing independence and privacy.

Working with Adults (including parents)

Many adults seek therapy when life feels overwhelming, unbalanced or emotionally demanding. This may relate to work, relationships, parenting, or a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, reflect and make sense of what is happening for you. Together, we explore patterns in thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and work gently towards greater clarity and balance.

Therapy with adults is collaborative and shaped around you. The focus is on finding practical, manageable ways to handle stress, build emotional resilience and feel more confident in everyday life. This approach supports change at a pace that feels realistic and sustainable.

For parents, this space can also offer support in understanding your own responses while navigating the challenges of caring for children or teenagers.

A Whole-Family Approach to Emotional Wellbeing

Emotional wellbeing is something families experience together. When one person is going through challenges, it can often affect the whole family.

My approach recognises the importance of supporting the whole family. In addition to working with children and young people, I also work alongside parents, helping them find ways to stay calm and respond more thoughtfully in challenging moments. This can make it easier to support children and model emotional regulation in everyday life.

When families feel supported and connected, positive change becomes easier to sustain and more likely to last.
